The company is a Life Settlement Provider headquartered in CA but with several offices throughout the United States. Their focus is on quality and transparency, and they assure their technical solutions meet those standards too.
The Challenge
As the company manages sensitive information about their clients, like medical or family details, they needed a team that could make sure that the security was in good hands. What they needed was to:
Modernize the existing platform, including integrating really old healthcare systems, some of them over 10 years old.
Build a new platform from scratch for the admins to manage the Life settlement cases.
What we did
We migrated the existing platform from Google Cloud to AWS, including servers, databases, and file systems.
We created an intuitive React platform for the agents to follow each of the cases. This included the possibility to upload files with Google Drive, and an OCR application to automatically digitize and index information included on medical files into the database. The back-end was built in Python/Django.
Results & Takeaways
From initial engagement to ongoing support, our team has built a modernized solution for our client that is much easier to maintain. The migration to AWS, updated tech stack, and improved integrations resulted in automation to save resources and eliminate manual work for our client.
